The first alpine combined competition was conducted on the fledgling World Cup circuit in 1932 and represented the first and only ski racing event at the IV Winter Olympics in 1936. Traditionally consisting of one run of downhill and two runs of slalom, the tandem disciplines were designed to combine the very best of speed and technical prowess. The Alpine Combined Knit is inspired by the fusion of these racing specialities.
